“The ranch has produced two world champion Appaloosa reiners (a senior and a futurity champion) in four years and has also had a trail service line. They have had a program for horses 0 to 2 years old called a “gentleness training program”, thought to be one of a kind. By the time the horses are ready to be “under saddle” with a live rider they have experienced mini and pony versions of saddles & bridles, will ground tie, have been ponied through the woods, exposed to vehicles, four-wheelers, bridges, flags and the usual tarps etc. The 3 and 4 years olds have all gone through gentleness training. When sent for training under saddle they usually accomplish in 4 weeks what most green horses need 7 weeks to complete. All young horses have world champion and hall of fame lines for reining.”
