Heritage Farm is well known for our year-round riding program emphasizing safety, horsemanship and fun. Our summer program is a chance for riders to immerse themselves in the daily schedule of the farm by helping with feeding, chores and care of horses in addition to their daily lessons. We also often do some fun horse-related arts and craft projects!

Each summer young riders have the opportunity to build on their weekly lessons by taking part in our summer riding program. This year we offer one week specifically for Hunt Seat IEA riders, and another week specifically for Western riders, including those on the IEA team. The Summer Program is an excellent time for young riders to learn more about the work involved in caring for horses and their equipment, but we also manage to fit quite a bit of fun, arts & crafts and laughter into the day!
